The patient is examined by highly qualified Doctors of Optometry for refractive errors and related conditions using a Huwitz Automated Digital Optometry System in the Optometry Chamber which ensures a smooth and automatic assessment of Visual Function.
The optometrist then prescribes the relevant optical correction and will refer the patient to our in- house Opticians for dispensation or the patient may seek his/ her own Optician.

The artificial eye or Ocular Bio- Prostheis is made from medical grade Polymethyl- methaacrylate (PMMA)/ Hydroxyapatite (HA)/ Porous Polyethylene (PP). It is an exact replica of the companion eye – it looks natural and moves at will. Biologically inert and safe natural pigments and threads are used for the artificial eye to match the color of the natural eye.
